Hi, I'm Mimi Singer.

Originally from Europe, I've lived and worked in several countries before making Australia my home. These days, I share my life with my family and a collection of much-loved pets, who often provide as much inspiration as they do entertainment.

I write cozy paranormal mysteries, along with stories for children and young adults. After spending years writing non-fiction, discovering fiction felt like opening the door to a world where anything is possible. Magic, mystery, ghosts, quirky characters, and the occasional talking animal are all welcome here.

Storytelling has always been part of who I am. As a teenager, I wrote delightfully spooky mysteries for my younger siblings, determined to keep them entertained—and just a little bit on edge. I also had great fun writing plays purely for my own amusement. I even managed to turn Shakespeare's Hamlet into a comedy and sent Elvis on an unforgettable adventure to Hades in search of Eurydice. It made perfect sense to me at the time!

That love of turning the unexpected into something fun still finds its way into my books today. My stories blend mystery, magic, adventure, and a touch of quirky humour because life—and fiction—is always more enjoyable when you can smile along the way.
